Today was unquestionably one of the best days of my life! From the boat tour of the bird sanctuary and the visit to the beach, to the trip to the markets, to the beautiful birthday cards and songs, to the games of President I played with my friends after dinner, this day was truly amazing.
I can’t say that I’ve never celebrated a birthday away from family because honestly, the girls (and trip leaders) on this trip have become my second family. Getting to know all of my peers personally is probably my favorite part of this trip. All of the different personalities, and idiosyncrasies, and habits, all of these things make each and every single person on this trip special to me. Thank you so much for such an awesome birthday!
